Video coming soon!

Sometimes you might see something scroll by on your tickr that looks really intriguing but you don’t have time to read it. We have incorporated bookmarks into retickr so you can store these articles and posts away for later. When you have time you can then access these bookmarks inside the retickr Dashboard in a fashion similar to how the upcoming retickr Reader will look and feel.

Let’s start by opening up the Tickr and clicking on a story. When the retickr Browser opens look for the BOOKMARKS button next to the SHARE button. Click on this button to save this story for later. When you do the text should turn change from BOOKMARK to UNBOOKMARK signifying that the story is saved in the Dashboard.

Now that the story is bookmarked you can resume what you were doing knowing that you have a reading list for when you get a break. When you get some time go ahead and open up your retickr Dashboard by clicking on the ‘Home’ button on the Tickr control panel. Look for the BOOKMARKS tab between HOME and SETTINGS and click on it to pull up your saved stories.

You can now click on a story to open up the retickr Browser just as you would with the tickr. Read, share, and when you are done delete it out of your bookmarks and move on to the next article. If you are wanting to delete a single story hover over the title and look for the trashcan icon to appear near the right edge of the Dashboard. Go ahead and click on that in order to delete a story.

If you want to clear all of your bookmarks look for CLEAR ALL BOOKMARKS which is located near the top right of the Dashboard. This will delete all of your saved stories so make sure you haven’t missed any article that you wanted to read.

That wraps up bookmarks for now. We plan to add a small, faint bookmark icon to every story in the tickr soon so that you can bookmark articles without ever having to open up the retickr Browser. This tutorial rounds out the functionality that retickr offers. Check out the next tutorial for a breakdown of retickr settings. Any questions about this tutorial?
